Commercial

An irregular floor plate of a Victorian warehouse, this project sought to uncover and recover character whilst creating a contemporary, functional office space. Render stripped, risers exposed and suspended ceilings removed to showcase original timber spans, services and masonry, with new steel rolled to support tired century-old brickwork beneath. To the centre, a single low-lying kitchen bay with shadowed poly doors topped with chunky Corian services the entire plate, framed by reinstated ironbark trussing. Adjacent, amenities are detailed with oversized pivot doors, concealed storage and contrasting porcelain tiling that references the heritage façade’s stucco
