First built as a grocer with shop-top housing and later used as a printing studio, a mechanic, an art gallery and a pastry kitchen somewhere in-between—our works here have been restorative. Plaster cut from walls, recycled rubber poured against recently exposed brick, new lighting, new roofing, new paintwork and original trussing exposed throughout. What stands now is a warm heritage shell that reminds us of its time under the sun
