Residential

Works to a modernist residence c. 1960 stemming from a playful study of shapes and their interaction with light. We were fortunate to deliver designs of the interiors alongside custom furnishings and assist in the procurement of landscaping and artwork to deliver a special suite of spaces. Notably, for the master we designed a canopy of acrylic sections to slot through perforated panels that fold from the roofline to create a sculptural ceiling run. An expanse of walnut forms the basis of the walk-in robes with panel splits defined by blades that triangulate on corners – serving as supports and shelving.  Our favourite – the conversation pit – is created by a low-slung timber box topped with chamfered cushions that wrap and sink beneath
